It should not be machine washed. Do not machine wash, use bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean.
Vacuum and rotate the rug regularly. New carpets shed lint. It is a natural phenomenon.
Vacuum them frequently at first. Dry stains: Remove immediately by carefully rubbing toward the center of the stain.
Wet stains: do not rub. Absorb them with household paper; Dampen them with a cloth and a mild cleaner.
Professional carpet cleaning, when necessary.
When vacuuming your carpet to clean it, always use the standard floor attachment, never the rotating brush.
